Amanda moved to New York City over eight years ago and quickly began working in the hair and makeup industry.  She grew up in the Hartford, CT area and studied Musical Theater at the Hartford Conservatory.  Her love of hair and makeup began there.  After moving to New York and pursuing theater for a short time, Amanda realized her true love was backstage, not on stage.  She began working and learning from some of the best artists in the business.  After lots of hard work and years of dedication to her craft, Amanda is now experienced in bridal, celebrity, special events, television, fashion, film, and all things beauty!  She is known for creating natural looks with pops of glamour and is praised not only for her talent, but also for her calm, composed approach.  She has worked with SELF Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo Latina, Dior, Aveeno, Olay, Havaianas, Pucker Vodka, and Covergirl.  She has been featured on New York's The Couch and New York Live. And Amanda has recently immersed herself back in the Broadway world working with some stars of the stage.
